Mods: Changed button placement to fall a bit lower and eliminated buttonhole in neckband.
Pattern is written for one size - about 6 month - and calls for US 2 / 2.75mm needles; I knit it on smaller needles to make it slightly smaller for (hopefully) more-or-less immediate wear.
